Bio

MARTY BOLT, a native of Colorado, is a versatile composer/arranger, pianist and educator active in a wide range of musical media and genres. As a composer who defines himself as a “jazz/classical/twentieth-century eclectic,” he has written music ranging from band to chamber music ensembles to big bands to orchestral pieces.

Marty taught music theory and aural skills at the University of Nebraska while working on a Master of Music. Marty received his Bachelor of Music (composition) in 2007 and his Master of Music (theory & composition) in 2010.
